How long it takes to transport a boat?
The time of a yacht delivery depends on many factors, such as distance to be covered, technical capabilities of the yacht, weather conditions, the season during which the passage is planned, etc. We do our best to transport vessels as fast as possible (with the best routes and minimum number of stops) while maintaining high standards of safety for the yacht and crew.
Who creates a passage plan for a yacht delivery?
Yacht delivery passage plans and cruise plans are carefully calculated and prepared individually, in cooperation with the client, by our captains most experienced in the areas and waters of client’s interest, to ensure the optimal, best, fastest and safest yacht delivery route. The passage plan agreed in the contract may sometimes change slightly due to unforeseeable obstacles or weather changes – each course correction is consulted with the client on an ongoing basis.
How much it costs to transport a yacht?
The price depends on the agreed form of delivery of the yacht (that can be carried out in various ways by water or land), on the size of the yacht, the planned delivery time and distance to be covered, the number of crew necessary for safe passage, and the possible costs of pre-cruise servicing, fuel consumption and provision of supplies.
Why is the contract so important?
We attach great importance to the transparency of all our contracts. All details and fees are clearly described, accepted and signed before the service is performed. We follow the principle of “zero surprises” – instead, we prefer clearly established, transparent costs and rules that guarantee our clients’ peace of mind. Thanks to this, both parties to the contract can feel safe and well-informed, and the relocation of the yacht takes place efficiently and on clearly agreed terms.
To/from where can you transport my boat?
From and to wherever you need or want it to be transported. We organize yacht deliveries via water, land or carrier ships from and to any chosen destinations, on all bodies of water around the world. We can deliver yachts both over very long (several months) and very short (several days) distances. The choice is yours.
Can I be a part of the crew during yacht delivery?
We often deliver yachts together with their owners. So yes, if you want, you can sail with us during the whole or only part of the planned route – the decision is up to you. Joining the crew has its significant advantages, for example, in safely practicing sailing on your yacht in more difficult waters (or after a longer break from sailing) with the support and care of our experienced skippers.
