Fair Grace was refitted for last four years in one of swedish shipyards. Our crew checked the boat first and made some short trial trips to be sure sailing on it is safe. Then, after fixing all issues, we were be ready for this short but beautiful delivery cruise. The sailboat needed to be transfered quickly – in about 7-10 days because, as the owner said: “Scandinavian summer is short” and he had short time to enjoy his boat.
About the passage
We’ve headed to Utklippan Island first, where we met seals. It’s very nice and interesting Island. Then, being depended on actual and forecasted weather, we sailed to Kalmar. After that, we sailed through Archipelago National Park located very close to Turku and delivered the sailboat to its owner.
